Michelle Skally Doilney

Certified Feng Shui Consultant

From her first childhood sanctuary, Michelle's lifelong passion for creating inspired and inspiring spaces was clear.  Experienced as an accomplished writer and photographer as well as former project management executive for a Fortune 500 company and property management professional, Michelle's experience in both the arts and business have shaped her unique perspective of how environment affects both productivity and personal well-being.  A practitioner of classical hatha yoga since 1997 and certified yoga instructor, Michelle's observances on balancing one's body and lifestyle led to her deeper understanding of how one's physical environment also affects balance in daily life.

Michelle is a certified Feng Shui Consultant in the Black Sect (BTB) tradition, studying and practicing Feng Shui since 2002.  She completed her certification process with Carole Hyder, Master Feng Shui Consultant and protege of Grandmaster Professor Thomas Lin Yun, with whom Michelle's also had the good fortune to study.

Michelle traveled to China and Tibet in 2006 for continued study and to experience Feng Shui from a Chinese perspective. Her yoga studies have taken her to India. She is the former Utah Chapter Director of the International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG) and a member of the Feng Shui Institute of the Midwest (FSIM). Michelle is committed to supporting and growing the Feng Shui community and raising awareness of Feng Shui to the public.

Based in Park City, Utah and San Clemente, California, Michelle is excited to announce the expansion of her practice in 2008, offering consultations, lectures, and group education across the country.  She recently completed a project with Bassett Furniture to design custom, multi-functional furniture for Newpark Hotel in Park City, with Newpark Town Center, one of the first pending LEED-ND certified projects in the nation. In addition to furniture design, Michelle coordinated and managed the FF&E and Interior Design team, including Parisi Portfolio, for the 39 million luxury hotel project. Michelle periodically offers free community lectures as a way for people to experience a taste of practical, do-it-yourself Feng Shui wisdom.

Michelle's goal is simply to provide each client, through optimizing their personal and professional environments, the tools and support needed for growth and change.
